The Karix Solution

Karix is the trusted and strategic mobile engagement partner of HDFC Bank. It brings its host of capabilities that can be bundled and packaged to meet the personalization required in every service offered by the bank. Karix’s SMS and Email APIs are integrated with HDFC’s banking and CRM systems to trigger alerts to the customers on transactions like ATM withdrawal, debit/credit card swipe, net banking transactions, credit card payment acknowledgements, beneficiary additions/changes, etc.

To enable transactions on Internet banking & Phone Banking, HDFC Bank is using Karix SMS OTP and Voice OTP APIs to enable additional authentication for transactions, thus adding an additional layer of security over the communications. Multiple retries are enabled for SMS delivery in case of delivery failures to foolproof the send-outs.

Real-time reporting APIs are integrated with HDFC Bank applications to provide insights on SMS and email delivery. This information is key for the company to measure & plan the effectiveness of their campaign roll-outs as well as routine communications.

HDFC Bank is also using Karix’s SMS GUI Panel to enable enhanced customer engagement through marketing messages that upsell other HDFC products like loans, cards, fixed deposits, etc. The SMS are enabled with advanced tracking that allows tracking of customer behavior through links that are embedded in the content of the message and relays detailed real-time statistical data and analysis including additional insights on the customer’s demographics.

Karix’s dedicated campaigns team assists HDFC Bank in execution of campaigns for batch operations like cheque book dispatch, loans processing, welcome kit dispatch and other service requests.
